TASS — Crimea’s ex-prosecutor Poklonskaya takes helm at State Duma’s Commission on MPs’ income

Poklonskaya set to kick some ass.
Crimea’s former prosecutor, Natalya Poklonskaya, now a newly-elected member of the seventh State Duma, has taken the helm of the Duma’s Commission on monitoring the accuracy of information on MPs’ revenues. The newly-elected State Duma approved the relevant directive at its first session on Wednesday.
Speaking with journalists earlier, Poklonskaya vowed that that she would use her experience gained from her job at the prosecutor’s office, if the MPs endorsed her candidacy. She said that in her work, she would "take into consideration the full force of the law."
This is a big deal for two reasons: First, corruption is a huge problem in Russia. Secondly, politicians that address it effectively are going too become hugely popular with Russian voters.

Poklonskaya has a destiny to fulfill. She is young and has plenty of time to become a major player.
