An economics, investment, trading and policy blog with a focus on Modern Monetary Theory (MMT). We seek the truth, avoid the mainstream and are virulently anti-neoliberalism.
Who knew? I did. At least I’ve always assumed the UK maintains a series of islands with strange banking and tax laws (Cayman islands, Bermuda, etc) with a view to attracting dirty money.
"Putting Britain down again" (telling the truth about the City) or "The world is jealous of our world class and innovative financial sector" (the world has had enough of the fraud and criminality of the City, or would like a cut of the action) will be the cry from the flag wavers and the flag wearers!
