Race and class are the important dividing lines in this election with race being the stronger. I think this political season has alot of misguided people arguing past each other.
Non-whites want the status-quo, Whites want change.
Poor and uneducated appear to be done being 'splained to by the socio-academic elite. While the socio-academic elite think when people don't respect their "knowledge" and authority, people that support Trump and Sanders, must be angry [ignorant, and crazy too]. Because there is NO WAY the socio-academic elite are just wrong. Hah!
IMO to solve economic problems we need a candidate that can unite on race but divide on class. Tricky because the Dems and Repubs are experts on racial divisions.
We can grow the entire pie (without "poisoning the nest"), we can get better distribution and we can better address racial inequality all at the same time. But no one believes it. No one believes we can do better anymore.
Before America can get better, you need to bring in a wrecking ball...
It’s not just the “poor and uneducated.”
