Yes, I think getting into contact with Sargon, and others like Rubin would be very good. Because we're basically very similar on social and political issues. And they're both very much open to a sane and well-thought out center-left economic programme, but I'm afraid they're simply not coming into contact with it.

Don't reinvent the wheel, just get Sargon to join the community. From what I know of his views, he's amenable to the points listed.
We need to stop thinking in the binary code of Left and Right.
Sargon is a Classical Liberal - with all the free trade mistakes that entails. A big fan of Dan Hannan who is similarly a classical Whig.
Sargon needs some economics training.
Yes, I have noticed Sargon quoting Hayek too -- and getting Hayek badly wrong. For god's sake.
