On the heels of the British Chilcot report exposing falsehoods to justify invading Iraq in 2003, a new U.K. inquiry found similar misconduct in the 2011 “regime change” in Libya, but no lessons are learned amid the West’s new propaganda about Russia, writes Robert Parry."Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Fool me over and over, I'm a moron. And I deserve what I get and don't get if I should know better.

They use the same old get out clause at the end, though. They said they Gaddafi had misruled for years and was a dangerous unpredictable tyrant. So that's it, Cameron completely let of the hook, just like Blair. But perhaps Bush, Blair, and Cameron were predictable tyrants.
Sometimes money trumps peace, said G W Bush, more like all the time.
Gaddafi should have gone democratic at the end and got out alive. But just think, any country in the world that goes democratic, especially if it had oil and minerals, will soon become a vassal state, where the Western ruling elite will get to own everything of value.
Until safeguards are put up to ensure the people of a country collectively own its natural wealth, then democracy will remain just a charade as it is in the West.
"Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on September 21. The United Nations General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.
The theme of this year’s commemoration is “The Sustainable Development Goals: Building Blocks for Peace,” which aims to highlight the importance of all segments of society working together to strive for peace".

That's the plan.
Transnational corporate totalitarianism under the guise of democracy, where the folks in charge get to select the candidates because they fund them and laws and regs depend on lobbying, campaign contributions, and the revolving door. Corrupt through and through but completely legal in a system in which ethics and morality are equated with legality. Throw in a double standard of justice on top of that, too, to mop up the residual.

Elections are a sham. Issues have little Impact on voting, as Scott Adams has been saying. It's emotional choice rather than rational choice.
Boy its too bad there were these falsehoods otherwise it all would have been worthwhile and a great outcome....
The price tag on the GWOT is already into the trillions the US and countless lives, without only with no end in sight, but also with conflicts expanding.
