Well, Bush threw Cheney under the bus.

Maybe Cheney is a "we attacked the wrong country" guy too...

They screwed up Iraq so badly that that didn't have the political space to carry out the plan to do Syria, Iran and NK. Remember Bush's "axis of evil."

Cheney is a "we didn't attack enough countries". Anyway, the idea that they got it wrong - it was an honest mistake - isn't credible. Dubya and his nasty crew knew exactly what they were doing: concoct evidence about Iraq, spread propaganda about Iraq and then invade a defenceless country. They're war criminals, as Trump almost said.

Tom, there were other countries on the list. General Wesley Clark has spilt the beans on that. Clark was shocked by the plans, which involved attacking eight countries, none of which had barely looked askance at the US let alone was a threat.

Remember Bush's "axis of evil."

Trivia: The original metaphor by David Frum was "Axis of Hatred." But his boss Michael Gerson didn't think the phrase was sinister enough so he changed "hatred" to "evil."

If I were in cocksplat's tiny shoes, I'd stay off twitter for awhile and seriously get busy divesting ALL my physical holdings. ALL OF THEM. Sell them off and put the proceeds in a blind trust. Pronto!. Why? Because, baby, me being the President of the United States, all my physical holdings, here and around the world -- from hotels to golf courses -- are now prime and juicy targets.

Edit: So... because an adverb can't be the object of a preposition, it's "for a while," not "for awhile."

Sorry about that :(
