Just when you though that the CIA couldn't get any madder, they come out with this bullshit.

Trump has said something that makes them fear for their absurd budget and their killing sprees around the world. So they come out with this stupid shit to put him on notice! Since the CIA is the executive's private military, they're telling this executive that they don't have his back. Dangerous times...

John, Michael Tracey makes a good point here:

WaPo report cites second-hand *characterizations* of CIA claims, not even CIA claims themselves. And the characterizations are conflicting.

The PTB are pulling out all the tricks.

I like how Trump will just call out the usual government BS. Previous Presidents would kowtow not wanting to step on toes and violate pecking orders.

The idea that a President shouldn't use social media and should be isolated from interacting with people directly was the worst idea in the history of the United States. If the only thing Trump gets done in the next 4 years is to open up government and get rid of the stupid rules on government officials using social media to interact with the public, his entire Presidency will have been worthwhile.

Rex Tillerson, Exxon CEO is the next Sec. of State, An Engineer, A less divisive person that doesn't have an elitist bone in his body! The guy was an eagle scout even. The war mongering Democratic party will be furious because he has been very good at working cooperatively with people around the world. Should be a real sea change from the dept of state under Clinton. What a contrast between the Obama admin and Trump admin on priorities on all this stuff.

Not when your SecDef is "Mad Dog' Mattis, and your national security advisor is Gen Flynn, who ran the DIA covert ops worldwide and was considered one of the finest intel officers of the 20th C.

There has been traditional rivalry between the CIA and Military intel divisions. The CIA has been allowed to do things that were traditionally the purview of military intel because the prez and executive team allowed it--becoming the executive's private military as you call it--esp after 9/11. The CIA will get its wings clipped.
