Zero Hedge — Germany's Largest Public TV News Broadcaster: Syria Chemical Attack "Most Likely Staged"

A senior correspondent for German state media broadcast ZDF heute stunned his European audience during a report from on the ground in Syria when he gave a straightforward and honest account of his findings while investigating what happened in Douma. The veteran reporter, Uli Gack, interviewed multiple eyewitnesses of the April 7 alleged chemical attack and concluded of the testimonials, "the Douma chemical attack is most likely staged, a great many people here seem very convinced."
It appears that all local Syrians encountered by the German public broadcast reporter were immediately dismissive of the widespread allegation that the Syrian government gassed civilians, which the US, UK, France, and Israel used a pretext for launching missile strikes on Damascus....

Propaganda works by planting a premise in people’s minds. As soon as people accept a premise, they become programmed and enslaved. After that, their opinions become irrelevant, no matter what side they are on.

To use a computer analogy, when people accept a premise, their BIOS is altered. Their CMOS setup is altered.

For example, the UK government claims that on 4 March 2018, Sergei Skripal and his daughter were poisoned with an alleged nerve agent that the UK government calls “Novichok.”

As soon as people believe in the premise (i.e. the Skripals were poisoned) it doesn’t matter whether people believe it was a false flag or not. It doesn’t matter if people blame the UK, or blame Russia, or whatever. As soon as people accept the premise (the Skripals were poisoned) everything devolves into confusing chatter, which is precisely what the government wants. The government does not want blind faith (which can be fickle and capricious). The government wants confusing and contradictory chatter, since this is what keeps the masses submissive.

Once the confusing chatter begins, the premise becomes protected by a taboo. It may not be questioned.

Example…

THEM: Russia did it! No, the UK did it! It was a false flag! No it wasn’t!

YOU: How do we know the Skripals were poisoned at all?

THEM: Blasphemy! Of course they were poisoned! We’re just trying to decide who did it.

Again, the premise may not be questioned. The taboo forbids it. The Skripals were poisoned. Period.

In the case of Syria, the premise is that there was a “gas attack.” As soon as people believe in this premise, it does not matter whether people think Russia did it, or Assad did it, or the US-backed terrorist “white helmets” did it. It does not matter whether people think the “gas attack” was real or “staged.” What matters is that people accept the premise (there was a “gas attack”). In this way people become lost in confusing and contradictory chatter, and therefore remain submissive.

Example…

THEM: Russia did it! No, Assad did it! It was a false flag! No it wasn’t!

YOU: How do we know there was any “gas attack” at all?

THEM: Blasphemy! Of course there was a gas attack. We’re just trying to decide who did it.

Again, the premise may not be questioned. The taboo forbids it. There was a gas attack. Period.

Therefore, whenever we hear propaganda, we must scrutinize its premise. Once we debunk the premise, we free our minds, at which point the chatter ceases and the propaganda dissolves.
