The Stephen Lendman Blog
Undeclared US War on Russia (Russia and China know that the US is at war with Russia indirectly by proxy and threatening war with China directly. This is not about either Ukraine or Taiwan, which are just pawns in the great game. The US is bent on permanent world domination, which requires breaking up Russia and China into smaller nations that can never again threaten US dominance. Conversely, the Russian and Chinese aim is to finish the US as the dominant world power to preclude this threat. This is one of the dominant themes of the present historical moment along with pandemics and the consequences of climate change, all of which could result in massive culling of the human population. We live in "interesting" times.)

RIP - Darya Dugina (The terrorist act was directed at her father, Alexander Dugin, one of the most significant Russian philosophers in history and probably the foremost Russian thinker today whose work has been translated into English. The Western media has folded him into its information war against Russia and completely mischaracterized him and his works. His daughter Darya was also brilliant and her death is a great loss.)

What do we get when we cross Chicken Little with Captain Obvious?

Pointless hand-wringing article.

For the record, Washington is a winner as far as Ukraine is concerned. This is because Europe accepts being the biggest loser.

Sacrificing Taiwan is the only way for Washington to hurt China. It's too little, too late.

So how is this going to play out?

Kiev is to blame 100% for Dugin assasination... or that they had help from western intelligence agencies... or that this is entirely the fault of the west?

Why? Who benefits? My suspicion is that it was orchestrated by CIA/MI6, and executed by the SBU for plausible denial, with a view to the info war since the target was obviously Dugin rather than Dugina. Dugin is a minor figure in Russia as shown by the fact that he had no protection, unlike targets of value. However, he is a big deal in the West, which portrays him as "Putin's brain," which is total nonsense. Killing him would get wide publicity in the West, whereas it would hardly be noticed in Russia in comparison with killing someone of consequence. But killing his daughter will definitely be noticed, and most people will be outraged over killing a brilliant and attractive young woman with a promising career in front of her.

I'm wondering who is going to be punished in retaliation. Just Ukraine, or Ukraine's supporters?

It seems to be a big deal in Russia because of his daughter.
