World order looks different from Moscow, Beijing — M. K. Bhadrakumar

Important for how geopolitics is relevant to geo-economics, especially with reference to China and the US. The Chines position is similar to what Michael Hudson has recommended, except China is reluctant to give up investing in US Treasuries, unlike Russia, whose central bank has shifted to holding gold reserves instead.

Darwin's rules:
Nations that have military power, must use it or lose it.
Nations that have economic power, ditto.

So what if Washington is not able to dominate the world militarily or economically?

Multi-polarity does nothing to reduce economic competition.
So stronger economies will continue to exploit weaker ones.
A rising tide lifts all boats, but the bigger boats will rise at the expense of smaller ones.
As they have since the rise of global sea-trading routes.

Eventually, the global south will realize that exploitation is not merely a case of white supremacy. It's inherent to the way the system is set up. Plus ça change, plus ça reste pareil.

And this is taking place in the context of a polluted planet with degraded ecosystems.
