Bernie: "its Bill Gates' money"

Ok we know Bernie is stupid.. ok...  but here's the thing...

How stupid are you when you have Trump saying below "Its our money... its our currency" doesn't think its Bill Gates' money obviously...

BUT THEN, you support Bernie anyway!

THAT is EVEN MORE stupid than being Bernie in the first place...

I support taxing bill gates. The man has no need for it nor his wife. And it’s payback for all good companies he driven out of business.
Tax the pants off him.

The main problem with Bernie is he's far too polite. He very clearly doesn't have the killer instinct necessary to succeed in the political arena.

Yep Bernie is way too soft. You should never hold back and excuse yourself or triangulate. People are really tired of that. If you loose do it with flag still raised. Then you or some others can build on it.

I think, very often, Americans just fundamentally view excessive politeness as weakness. Because it is. It's always easier just to be polite and avoid directly confronting someone. We have something in common with the Russians, we like strong leaders. Trump broke every decorum rule in the book and got a literal cult following for it... During that one debate with HRC, he had Bill's accusers in the audience. I don't think we quite appreciate just what a boss move that was.. If you've seen the show Silicon Valley, Erlich whips his balls out and puts them on the VC's table to show disapproval of the VC's offer. Trump did the political equivalent of that.

There’s a difference between Russia and the US. Putin has made reforms that has really changed Russia for the better for a majority of its citizens from when he took over. that have made him so popular. The same cannot be said of the US. In Russia it’s not only hot air it is real action. In Bernies case it’s the triangulation and compromising that’s so many social democrats do from a position where they have nothing to gain politically but all to lose which is the problem. They think they can compromise about everything as part of the reformistIf ideal. But it doesn’t work. It’s the same story all over the world.
