The Cheapest Way For Trump To Save U.S. Oil — Lourcey Sams

Protectionism. This would be a kiss of death for free trade, one of the three pillars of economic liberalism, the other two being free markets and free capital flows.

I think this book was written in Trump Tower when Corsi was working for Chris Ruddy and Ruddy was running Newsmax out of the Tower:

I’m pretty sure Trump believes this:

“ In Black Gold Stranglehold, Jerome R. Corsi and Craig R. Smith expose the fraudulent science that has been sold to the American people in order to enslave them: the belief that oil is a fossil fuel and a finite resource. On the contrary, this book presents authoritative research, currently known mostly in the scientific community, that oil is not a product of decaying dinosaurs and prehistoric forests. Rather, it is a natural product of the earth. The scientific evidence cited by Corsi and Smith suggests that oil is constantly being produced by the earth, far below the planet's surface, and that it is brought to attainable depths by the centrifugal forces of the earth's rotation.”

The whole thing is a scam....

Regardless, there is more oil in the ground than will ever be consumed. Doesn't change the fact that it isn't easy to access, and that the era of cheap oil is over.

In the meantime, tar sand deposits are located near the Earth's surface. It would take centuries at current consumption to deplete them.
