Biden's new budget ditches FDR-style spending ambitions — Hans Nichols

Deficit down, military spending up.
  • By focusing on deficit spending as a cause of inflation, administration officials are starting to parrot an argument Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) made in rejecting Biden’s Build Back Better agenda: new programs that aren’t fully offset can drive up prices.
  • The president also wants to assure Americans he'll increase defense spending in the face of new threats from Russia, and fund the police to keep Americans safe at home.

Orwellian double speak is everywhere you look.

More surveillance is needed to stop terrorism.

It is nothing but a theatre of lies, filled to the brim with actors employed by the leisure class and capital.

They know they are losing control of the " mental sovereignty " of large parts of the country and beefing up security to protect themselves. Why the police now resembles an army. The real army a bunch of mercenaries for corporate power.

Via cancelling/ censorship / banning/ jailing, the ministry of truth will tell you what the truth is.

These psychopaths are becoming more dangerous than any foreign power.

There is nothing liberal or conservative about the one party nation state.

It is happening everywhere not just in the US.

These fuckers don't care about Americans. They fear them and hate them in equal measure.

They don't even try and hide it anymore. That's the scariest thing of all.

It's a sickness Mike.

An illness that I can't find words for, to describe how dangerous what is happening right now.

Depoliticisation just doesn't suffice anymore.
