Super Imperialism: The Economic Strategy of American Empire with Michael Hudson

Here's my favourite!

Professor Hudson just published a 3rd edition that updates his analysis for the 21st century, discussing the new cold war on China and Russia and the ongoing transition from a US dollar-dominated financialized system to a "multipolar de-dollarized economy."

Here is Putin's speech to the region's of Russia with English subtitles.

Up to 23 mins is the political side of things.

After 23 minutes is the economic policies he wants implemented.

Sounds as if he is turning slightly chinese.

Handing over a lot of power to the regions. Giving them the central plan and telling them to get on with it. Money is no issue.

21 mins in is the split.

If you want to just listen to the economics part.

The political aspect is worth listening to. Confirms everything Tom has been posting.

This is what pulling out of the the INF was really all about

the U.S. proposes to spend $27.4 billion to surround China with missiles along the "first island chain", which includes Taiwan.

This would create a Cuban missile crisis on steroids.

Perhaps the last surviving Ukrainians will be redeployed to Taiwan to defend that island.
