If it agrees to the Eastern regions becoming Russian states and recognises Crimea as a Russian state too.
I think it's a good deal. East and West Ukraine don't like each other and feel that they are different countries, so they might as well separate. Then Western Ukraine can rebuild its economy to European standards, producing a fabulous and wealthy country. Its won't be a small country, even without the Eastern parts, but there see many small and medium sized countries in Europe which have a very high standard of living, and are beautiful with happy people.
Some people will call me an appeaser, and mention Chamberlain. Well, each situation has to be valued in its own, but that war cost the lives of up to 85 million people, plus Europe's economies were bandrupt afterwards, so surely their was a better way? And I didn't say it on twitter, because I'm anti-imperialist, but I thought it would appeal to the British nationalists, that the war destroyed Britain's Empire, which the Americans took over, and so they had a good standard of living, while we were broke.
Anyway, I didn't know what a Realist was until I came across John J Measheimer recently, and I would say that I was a left leaning Realist. So, it just makes sense to me for the Ukraine to do this deal. And as the years go by, the East and West regions might even start to like each other if they start to trade.
But the Neo-nazis have already shot one politician who was in peace talks with Russia, calling him a traitor, so I hope the same doesn't happen to Zelensky. Plus, it seems that the US wants this war to continue to bankrupt Russia. Many dark forces are at play.

I don’t think they want to bankrupt Russia they seem to be isolating them…
G-7 at least….
Think North Korea.,, North Korea isn’t bankrupt…
Comparing Russia and North Korea is a bit silly.
Isolating anything is just a way of putting prices up and blaming somebody else. It's the only move they have left.
With Putin there they want to put Russia into NK conditions…
Will take a year probably…
If Putin out will probably snap right back to previous conditions..,
Great pretender. That’s all you have, a nothing burger.
And of course the regime forcing their young boys from age 18 is the Zelenskyy regime. Putting weapons in their hands without any training and out you go!
And release prisoners too while your at it and arm them too. That can’t go wrong… great regime that Ukie one.
No Hypocrisy. One of the first things I posted on this was how Russia's Putin was misbehaving like the US (Iraq, Afgh...).
Also, I protested in front of the US Consulate, here in Montreal, with thousands of other Montrealers against the bombing of Serbia.
Re the Iraq war, I was in Florida just before Cheney launched his war. I recall having a physical altercation there with one of my cousin's (he's American) friends -- that I thought that this war was both immoral and unjustifiable and that it will bring nothing but misery to everyone. I even said to the fucker that if he's so keen onn war that maybe he should show by example and sign up at the nearest military recruiting center. That obviously didn't go over well with him and the punches started flying. Two weeks later, I'm home now, I get a call from my cousin asking me if the guy knew my name. "Why, Cuz?" Says he's going to report me to the FBI ...lol
Oh shit, I almost forgot...
Go ahead ask me a math question? Something interesting and cool like "Why were trigonometric functions invented? And why do they reside most comfortably on the unit circle?"
You know, transcendentals have nothing to do with dentistry.
Ok. If that’s the case I apologize for my prejudice.
Problem with that scenario is NATO will just keep arming the Western part.
And deals aren't worth the paper they are written on.
The Minsk agreement solved the problem and look what happened. NATO wouldn't let them sign it.
