Max Boot — Donald Trump: A Modern Manchurian Candidate?

The Council on Foreign Relations spokesperson Max Boot wants Donald Trump to get tough on Russia, worries he is a Russian stooge.

The Council on Foreign Relations is considered to be part of the US deep state, at least the inner circle. It is the most powerful and influential non-government organ of the deep state with deep tentacles into the US government as well as major private institutions. The Council on Foreign relations publishes Foreign Affairs, the premier US foreign affairs and policy journal.

Has Mad Max Boot ever in his life said or written anything that wasn't total bullshit?

That's his stock in trade and why he is where he is. It's what he gets paid to do.

"...and why he is where he is."

And that's why Amy Goodman and the best of America's journalists are where they are, barely making a living while the vulgar Max Boots and less vulgar but worse Thomas Friedmans of what passes for American journalism rake it in. Remember how that unsubtle, barefaced liar Judith Miller was lionised for years, when it was as clear as day that she was incapable of telling the truth even if her life depended on it. There is nothing more nauseating than reading a book by Thomas Friedman. The man regurgitates every putrid hazardous nonsense you can think of, and all the ones you thought you'd forgotten. Like a toxic sausage factory, he just churns out dangerous waste. He's one of the most nauseating figures in public life. If you see him, cross the road even in oncoming traffic, otherwise he may infect you with his half-wittedness. A broken leg is better than being touched by a Friedman or a Boot.

If the public stopped watching, listening and reading any media whatsoever they'd be far better informed. It's clearly propaganda for the most part, and you don't it make it anywhere near the top if you have a decent bone in your body. A really top notch journalist at the NYT or WaPo will never make it out of the obituaries section. If they don't throw it all in, they end up making a few bucks here and there at outlets who can just about afford to raid the petty cash box. Advertisers are king, and they don't want people telling the truth. The one thing the Mad Men know is that the truth does not set you free!
