They said the same with Russia as the sanctions are making it diversify. Everything seems to be backfiring inn the Western aristocracy, I hope this doesn't make them desperate.
The neoliberals are said to be social liberals and economic hawks, i.e, very right wing when it comes to business. But true liberals would not be so distrusting of foreign powers.
I guess the hawks in the West see the hawks in the East and see enemies.
