Peter Lepine-Smith's miniature 1/3 scale trolleybus circuit

I bought the wrong fridge-freezer by accident, one that is designed to go in a cupboard. I really like it as it's so quiet and it's lovely inside, so I'm going to keep it, especially as the last one was so noisy, but it looks a bit plain on the outside. Anyway, I would love to put picture rail and dado rail on it, stained in light oak to match the cupboards, along with some white porcelain and gold effect antique handles (with very strong but removable sticky pads), but my girlfriend won't let me, so I have some white uPVC strip to put on instead.

I said to my girlfriend, "Who else has got a fridge like that, no one?" But I know she hates doing anything that's different to everyone else, and I couldn't even get her to use a halogen oven because she said no one else has one. She refused to believe it was as good as a conventional oven, but it's so environmentally friendly and saves money too. Oh well!

I told her she could tell her friends that I bought the wrong fridge-freezer, so her mad boyfriend stuck the picture rail, dado rail, and antique handles on it. What a laugh, hey, but no, she won't have it? I think it would look okay, and it would all be put on with the new technology, super strong, but removable tape that doesn't harm surfaces.

Anyway, I love this electric bus, but I don't think my girlfriend woud let me have one of those in the garden, she would leave in embarrassment.

In 1968 Peter Lepine-Smith built a miniature 1/3 scale trolleybus circuit to ride around in his Surrey back garden.
