Here's a way to protect the value of the Euro yet allow much more spending and that's to increase the DEMAND for Euros by allowing the entire world to use it in account form at the ECB (but only FOR FREE for Eurozone citizens to a reasonable account limit). That and remove all other ECB privileges for private banks, whatever those may be.
A bit like the Boston Strangler in stereo.
