Only a matter of time before Russians believe they can win a nuclear war due to their 'military superiority'.

Putin already addressed that by saying in effect that nuclear war would be lose-lose.

Lots of people say it's lose-lose, yet the 'analysis' never ends.

Whether they realize it or not, Martyanov and Kinzinger are on the same team.

What to do about the energy crisis?

https://the-blindspot.com/altif-transcripts-what-to-do-about-the-energy-crisis/

Fills me with fear, rather than hope.

Everything points to a MASSIVE energy crises further down the road and once they U turn because promises were pipe dreams. Turns into a climate crises.

Scaring populations with a 10 year deadline on climate is going to backfire. The left hand of the one party nation state just teed up the right hand of the one party nation to knock the can further down the road.

When after 10 years and nothing has changed the climate change deniers will hold all the cards.

I'm guessing we're going to keep on consuming energy. It's the only way to keep 8 billion people alive for awhile longer.

They can promise the earth but know they might not be there after the next election cycle.

Central planning which is what is needed is a swear word to them.

It’s already been 20 years and nothing has changed…

ECB is choosing to abandon Italy and Draghi to the whims of speculators in the Italian sovereign bond market.

Markets, finance, economics etc…

Lorie Logan, executive VP of the Markets Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, gave a very interesting speech earlier this month about the challenges digital innovation poses for policy implementation. It was largely missed by the market.

Easiest way to deal with 'liquidity demands' is just to let liquidity float and ditch government backed bills and bonds.

Perhaps crypto manipulation will force the hand.

I never realised that about online shopping my wife explained to me as she made a programme about it.

Store cards, online shopping, Amazon prime it is all about the data.

Collecting the data and selling it on is where the money is. So no wonder supermarkets are secretive about these metrics and how they are measured.

Footsoldier said...

My guess is that is what elections have become.

Very easy to divide a country and start a culture war and Pitt blue against red. If you collect and harvest the data from both tribes.

Imo why below the line comment sections were introduced in the mainstream media. Also used for policy leaks to see what they can get away with. What the core reaction is by their voters in certain policy choices.
