“Trump announced that he would begin cutting off foreign aid to Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador for their inability to stop the migrant caravan from marching up to the U.S.-Mexico border.”
Excellent. U.S. aid to neoliberal Central American governments creates refugees in the first place. If Trump followed through with his threat, there would be fewer refugees.
“The president also called the caravan a ‘national emergency’.”
Trump’s idiocy is a national emergency.
“Breitbart Texas reported that the migrant caravan stormed through Mexico last week, tearing down a border barrier in the process as they crossed from Guatemala to Mexico.”
A slow walk by men, women, children, and infants is “storming”? Which moron wrote this? Franko?
In ancient Israel, where assets were roughly equally owned by all Hebrews, foreigners were welcomed as a source of wage labor.
Not so in the US where far too many Americans depend on wages themselves to survive, having been cheated out of family farms and businesses by what is, in essence, a government-privileged usury for stolen purchasing power cartel.

Well if a country is not prepared to use brute force to stop illegal immigration, then effectively it has an open door policy!
U.S. military and economic aggression create refugees.
We need to reduce our production of refugees.
Instead, most people call for more brute force to be imposed on the refugees that we produce.
