Did we evolve the right way - I'm not saying predetermined by God - but did we evolved in sync with the universe, and like a seed, it was already built in for us to evolve in a certain way. But not predetermined like a seed either, it's something far more mysterious.
Jason Padgett says that the brain works out the coordinates of the universe by seeing the fractals that form our world. This process is unconscious. The universe is all geometry based on pi (π), he adds. When his brain repaired itself from the injuries it received the vision processing part of his brain became connected to the part that works out the geometry of the universe, and then he was able to see all the fractals and geometrical patterns.
In 2002, Jason Padgett was the victim of a vicious beating outside a karaoke bar in Tacoma, Washington. Upon regaining consciousness, Padgett’s sight was forever altered by a condition called acquired savant syndrome. The brain trauma opened his eyes to an entirely new world—one filled with patterns and strobes, like a stop-motion film. This is a fascinating story into the hidden power of the mind and one man’s inspiring tale of courage and personal triumph. The Acquired Savant is a film by Thomas Petersen.
