Remember, it's the Koch Brothers who are the main people behind the present day libertarian movement, a movement that was started by the elites in the 1930's to counter the New Deal after their coup to topple the government was foiled by Smedley Butler. So much for liberty: libertarianism was designed to give power to a handful of unelected, unaccountable people.

Don’t be deceived by the corporate media outlets, which are all collaborating in their lies. The operation against Venezuela is going poorly. The USA and its puppet, Guaido, have made too many blunders, e.g. naming Elliot Abrams to the regime change team. Or making direct and repeated threats against Venezuela’s military. Trump says he will find out if any member of Venezuela’s military has family living in the USA, and he will arrest and deport them.
Meanwhile no one in Latin America wants a US invasion. Not even the neoliberals who hate Maduro.
Brazil’s government hates Maduro, but will not let USA use Brazilian territory to stage a military attack on Venezuela. Even Colombia is hesitant to be used as a military base. The only place a US attack could come from is the Caribbean Sea.
What about a proxy war using terrorist mercenaries, like the USA uses its ISIS ™ employees in Syria? This doesn’t seem viable. The lower classes in rural Venezuela are fully prepared for it. They are armed and motivated.
The blogosphere is full of a**holes who echo the “Maduro dictator” trash, but most people see this as simply another oil grab. Unless something dramatic happens, I doubt this latest coup attempt will succeed.
The USA or Israel may have to stage a false flag attack on the US, and blame it on Hezbollah agents that allegedly came from Venezuela. As always, the terrorist passports will miraculously be found in the rubble. A false flag attack could target an area that is already distressed and full of black Americans, so no oligarchs would lose money.
