Retribution for what? For not having reported the fake numbers that the CIA and its catspaws just concocted and then "discovered"? My wife has a friend/ student she talks to frequently, at length, especially since he is quarantined as he was ill from the coronavirus from volunteering in Wuhan. Chinese people criticize their government - more than Americans - but they don't spout this garbage that they know is false from their own eyes.

First off, trying to isolate yourself on this planet, while trying to have corporations that span the globe stripping resources is impossible. Isolating yourself while having your military build bases everywhere will fail.
The rest of the world is finding good reason to cooperate with China, so unless we stop interacting with China and anyone else who interacts with China we won’t be able to “have nothing to do with them”
I think the rest of the world would give us a standing ovation if we were to empty our bases, close down all international operations of our companies and just keep Americans at home from here forward....but it’ll never happen.
