Good backgrounder for those outside the UK that have not been following the politics.
Since Labour has been neoliberal since triangulating post-Thatcher, as did Democrats in the US post-Reagan, the political issues are tightly bound up with economic ones, privatization, deregulation and fiscal "rectitude."
Looks like the Labour neoliberals are now on the run. Has the wave crested for them?

I'm reading a book by Richard Seymour called, Corbyn: The Strange Rebirth of Radical Politics. Seymour describes how the Labour moderates and Blairites are desperately trying to remove Corbyn. I always described myself as being a moderate lefty. But according to Seymour I'm on the far left. But I think that Corbyn is the moderate and that the Conservatives and the neoliberals are the extremists. Some extremists even say things like, ' bomb Iran'.
