I haven't followed the game since the Montreal Expos left town in 2004. Just couldn't go with another team :(
As a kid, I really enjoyed my summer afternoons outside listening to Expos baseball announcers Dave Van Horne and Duke Snyder on the radio (screw tv, baseball is meant to be heard, not watched on tv -- unless you're at the game :) ). Van Horne's signature call for an Expos homerun was "That ball is up! up!... and awaaaayyy!!!
One of the best damn books I ever read (after Chekhov and the Russian novelists, of course) was Jim Boouton's Ball Four. Funny as hell. Btw, Bouton passed away last year.
I'll bet Charlie Hustle misses it as well :)
