Regarding Paul Craig Roberts' comments, there was a time when NPR was progressive.
NPR even questioned Israeli atrocities.
NPR gets most of its funding from the U.S. government. In the mid-1980s, Jewish supremacists told their puppet politicians in Washington to get rid of NPR, or the Jews would see to it that U.S. politicians were not re-elected.
NPR faced a choice: start praising Israel, war, and Wall Street, or else be eliminated. NPR personnel chose the former, just to keep their jobs.
To this day, NPR still has a reputation as being “progressive” (because of NPR’s past) when in fact NPR is fanatically pro-Israel, pro-imperialism, and pro-neoliberalism.
NPR is the vehicle that elitists use to inject their lies into would-be “intellectuals.”
