Again for those of you who are stupid aerosols are not blocked by masks which means for those attempting to obtain personal protection nothing less than an N95 (a respirator) works at all and source control is worthless since when you breathe out even with an N95 the positive pressure will cause the mask to unseal and form jets, releasing the aerosols. We've known all this for 40 years; source control does not work for aerosols at all and for personal protection, if you desire to use it and which thus must be a personal choice since it protects only you the only working options are an N95 (or P100) with an exhaust valve so the seal is maintained when you exhale instead of being repeatedly violated with each breath which airlines and some governments have actually banned you from using! from https://market-ticker.org/
In other words, masks are useless for protecting others and can only protect one's self IF they are N95 (or P100) with an exhaust valve.
No exhaust valve means the mask's seal to face is broken by the pressure of exhaling one's breath - the exhaust valve relieves that pressure but, of course, must be unfiltered lest the air flowing out it is hindered. The valve is one-way - exhaust only.
So filtration ability is rendered irrelevant if there is no exhaust valve.

On my Honor 10 I can't see the video. I can only view it from my android tablet or my Windows PC.
I've just added a link (in orange).
I wonder if for every Florida Man there is a Florida Woman...

The recommendation for over a year in the UK now has been for FFP2 Face Masks. Equivalent to N95.

If everyone were required to wear a tight-fitting N95, it would cause more health problems.
Ffp2 have 94% filtration and are easy to wear, although I don't know about long periods. I only use them for shopping.
I'm not going to wear my helmet into combat because it only stops shrapnel, not bullets.
Soldiers and children are not allowed to make their own risk assessments. So wear your helmet before stepping on that landmine, or playing in traffic.
I thought NeilW was trying to displace Franko as our #1 asshole, but I see he does not have the courage of his supposed convictions.
Were you able to read his comment?
Yeah, the text dropped in my email.
