A pyramid scheme where this paid protester gets double the money for recruiting others. He says it has made him rich and if it wasn't for the money he would be skiing, or something.

To be truthful, I doubt if he got rich doing it. Probably a lot richer than he was, though.
Disinformation. Not that it doesn't happen but why publicize it?
You must release that this guy is messing with you right? You can go to www.georgesoros.com and see that it's not some signup page for paid protesters as he describes. The conspiracy theory about Soros paying protesters is sort of a running joke on the left. There's even a lefty sketch comedy group in NYC called "Paid Protest" in reference to it.
