Israeli Settlers in the Occupied West Bank

It speaks for itself.

That’s the question that motivates writer Wajahat Ali to travel to Israel in a new documentary from The Atlantic. Ali, who has been critical of Israel, embarks on a personal quest to understand the perspectives of some of the 400,000 Israeli Jews who live in the occupied territory in defiance of international law—and to hear from the Palestinians who oppose them. In his travels through the West Bank, Ali visits the family of a Palestinian terrorist, ventures into the heart of one of the most radical settlements, and speaks to the leader of an NGO focused on creating a dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians.

We got off to a bad start.

“In his travels through the West Bank, Ali visits the family of a Palestinian terrorist. . ."

Uh…yeah. Okay.

Then, right away in the video comes, “In 1967, fearing an attack from the Arab world, Israel went to war.”

I suppose that Israel attacked the USS Liberty because Israel feared an attack from the American world.

Whenever the USA or Israel prepares to launch an unlawful and unprovoked attack on someone, they always fabricate “imminent attacks."

Saddam Hussein was only minutes away from using WMDs against Washington. Palestinians in the Gaza Death Camp are only minutes away from nuking Israel.

Anyone who exposes these lies is guilty of “hate speech.”

Anyway I continued with the video, and within seconds I had to click it closed, unable to watch any more. “God gave us this land.” (Bullsh*t.) “Our connection with this land goes back millennia.” (More bullsh*t.) On and on.

The maker of the video tried to be balanced. I thought he was too balanced but it was still good.
