This is not on politics or economics, so this comes under the 'anything' category that Mike Norman said was okay. It's important to me because my dad suffered from multiple sclerosis most of his adult like.
This new device is miraculous. I understand how much it means to you. I’ve often thought that if I had my life to do over again I would be a neurosurgeon, perhaps even a brain surgeon. What more glorious career can one have than alleviating suffering?
MS is an autoimmune disorder in which the body’s immune system attacks the casing that surrounds nerve cells. This causes the brain to have trouble communicating with other parts of the body. It’s a progressive disease, and can eventually be fatal.
My own daughter is wheelchair-bound and semi-paralyzed with Friedrich’s ataxia, which is considerably worse. I wonder if something like this would help her.
The device will be out in early 2019 - any day soon now. It is considered safe so will be available for purchase by anyone, which is good news. I hope it can help your daughter.
