My read is that (1) Putin has something on Trump that Trump regards as either highly embarrassing or fatal (although what it could be is at this stage hard to imagine: what could embarrass Trump? what could lead McDonnell and company to stop defending Trump?); (2) Putin has said that he will keep quiet as long as Trump is "agreeable"; (3) Putin has left it up to Trump to define what "agreeable" is; (4) Trump is neither sophisticated nor wise as he attempts to do Putin's bidding….What news does he head anyway not to know that the US and Russia are preparing for a nuclear showdown as the doomsday clock advances? Has he missed that the neocons are back in charge of foreign policy?

Oh, wait. Brad rescues himself — although it has taken Paul Krugman and him inordinately long to figure this out. But the rest of the conventional economists haven't yet. Brad Delong gets stupider for each day. Why can’t he just disappear...
Do you think we should give him a link to this site?
I think the question should be what do the Neocons have on Trump that they use to blackmail him into prolonging these endless wars and to threaten Russia. Or maybe Trump was always nothing but a stealth Neocon. Or maybe Trump is just spineless.
Or is he [DeLong] channeling Pelosi?
Maybe, but the puppet master who usually pulls DeLong's strings is John Podesta.
It's best not to leave a link then, if he is in with the corporate Dems.
Every president is a puppet. The last one who wasn't? JFK
